      <title>Advice please, newly diagnosed (I think). Is my doctor competent?</title>
      <description>I was told on my last visit to my doctor,&amp;nbsp;in may&amp;nbsp;that I have diabetes. A1C 6.4. She didn&amp;#39;t come out and say, &amp;#39;you have diabetes&amp;#39;. She was reading off my lab results and I heard diabetes. I asked her why she didn&amp;#39;t mention it. She said since the number was low and I lead a healthy life style there was no reason too.
