ABOUT ME:

I have had 26 Surgeries and 6 Pain Pump Surgeies, 3 of the Surgeries were in the past 6 months from a Recalled Medtronic Pain Pump and sutcherless pump Connector, I could write all day about what happened to me. But it boils down that the 9 Supreme Court Judges voted 8-1 against sueing a Medical Device Company for making recalled Health Devices, the Bill is in the House of Rep. and in the Senate, it appears that someone tried to sue medtronic and the case ended up against the people of the USA sueing for faulty medical devices, the information was found on google when looking for lawers sueing medtronic, I can't believe that a Medical Device Company is not responsible for Damaging patients and killing 1 that I read about on the inernet. I myself am just glad and lucky to be alive after a Horror story with the Pain Pump. I had a Seroma filled with fluid that would not go away, even after it was drained it filled back up to the size of a large Softball this happened after 1 of the last 3 surgeries in 6 months, then after the second surgery 2 months later I ened up with a hole in my stomach that was leaking a yellow fluid, I was sent to an infectious disease Doctor and he wrote a letter telling my Doctor to remove the Pain Pump STAT. Now the Pain Pump has been removed for 1 month and I still won't know if I'm in the clear because they left the Catheter in my spine, and for some strange reason it is taking over a month for the incision in my stomach to close completely. I just hope that I heal this time because I can't take another surgery, I hope that who ever reads this thinks twice about putting in a Pain Pump. Sincerely; JR
