Type 2 for almost 3 years. Had good tight control with only Byetta until last Sep when major back surgery made the BG go completely out of control. On insulin while in hosp for 2 weeks came home with 3 diabetic drugs. Now back down to just Byetta and Actos but am concerned about taking Actos based on recent warnings. Try just Byetta to see where the BG hangs. Higher than I like but fasting checks mostly below 130 and many below 120. Not happy with doctor but my city has a doctor crisis and plan on moving to NM within the next year so still pondering going on the 'doctor hunt' right now.PHOTOS:
