Will has been the Executive Director of the American Pain Foundation (http://www.painfoundation.org/), a pain patient organization, since 2003. He brings to that position over 20 years experience in leading non-profit organizations and a strong understanding of what it is like to live with pain and care for someone who lives with pain. Will's wife was diagnosed with fibromyalgia over 20 years ago and has a pain story that is unfortunately typical of the journey of many people affected by pain.
Will is completely dedicated to the mission of the foundation which is to improve the quality of life of people affected by pain through education and support, advocacy, and the promotion of pain research. With over 80,000 members, APF is the largest pain patient organization in the country. One major goal of the foundation is to encourage and support people living with pain and their caregivers to get involved in advocating for improvement of care for people living with pain.
