I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder about 2 weeks before my 18th birthday. Since that time I have seen psychiatrists and therapists to help manage my depression, and I have been on several different medications and medication combinations. Despite the struggles and set-backs caused by my depression, I am a relatively successful person with a college degree and a good career. Each day is still a challenge, but challenges can help to change your life for the better, if you let them.PHOTOS:
