Instead of focusing on the miniscule number of patients who "abuse" prescription drugs,  let's focus instead on the huge number of pain patients who are being abused by doctors who deny them access to opiate medications.  Denial of access to appropriate medical care is abuse and doctors are all to frequently abusers in  this area.
