I've had migraines since the age of 7, fluctuating in frequency and duration at different times through my life.  Mostly though I could manage as they would go away and I could continue to live in between.  Since I turned 40 they increased in frequency, duration and intensity, until I was forced to leave work as I was not able to hold down work any longer ... currently experiencing migraines almost constantly, although happy to report some days where I am pain free :) yee ha!

 I've been through many preventatives, experienced some horrendous side effects or no effect at all.  Sandomigran was useful for a few months until the side effects were too much to bear.  Having gone through the classes of drugs again with different versions, I'm now almost at the point of taking Lupron to stop my cycle and see if that helps.  Desperation opens many doors I would otherwise not go through!
