I have had chronic low back pain for over 15 years.

With multiple surgeries completed, most recently to correct a failed fusion (L4-S1) done 5 years prior. Complications after my latest surgery has manifested in several trips to the ER with what now looks as an apparent allergy/anaphylaxis to narcotic based pain medicine. Knowing what lies ahead for me as I continue to recover (Physical Therapy again, breakthrough pain) the thought of having no available pain medicine beyond Tylenol is causing me to completely rethink my pain management and seek out alternatives while the Dr's and I determine what I am allergic to. Currently have an Epinephrine pen on standby because I never know when I might develop anaphylaxis again. 

I have a wonderful Wife of whom I love deeply and 3 beautiful children all of which deserve so much credit in keeping me sane while I heal and pursue my dream of living pain free.
