      <title>Mollie just turned 4 weeks old...she shares reflux with her &quot;Amma&quot; (me, her grandmother)</title>
      <description>When Mollie was born we were told that she had a &quot;precipitous birth&quot; -- good for my daughter, bad for the baby.&amp;nbsp; She wasn't in the birth canal long enough to get rid of all the &quot;goop&quot; that was in her various tubes.&amp;nbsp; One of the consequences happens to be reflux.&amp;nbsp;
So, at 2 1/2 weeks, Mollie (crying, crying, crying, vomiting, bubbling, and impossible to calm down or burp) was put on Prevacid.

      <description>I've lived with acid reflux for years, and in the past few years I've developed an occasional difficulty swallowing.&amp;nbsp; After all the tests, plus a barium upper GI with a speech therapist&amp;nbsp;they found the &quot;normal changes due to the aging process&quot; with some extra, or &quot;reverse&quot;, contractions.&amp;nbsp; And, as an aside, noticed a &quot;bone spur&quot; on my spine which was pointing inward and aggravating the swallowing situation.&amp;nbsp;
