MY UPDATE: HEADACHES BEEN GETTING WORSE

I'm 18 yrs old. I have been dealing with Chronic Daily Headache for going on 3 years now. The headaches began within a week of hurting myself weight lifting (squatting). The doctors have yet to find a cause; all the tests I have taken have come back completely normal (5 MRIs, CAT scan, MRA, MRV, blood work twice, and x-rays). I was on hospital homebound for 2 yrs but now I am starting college and I need to work again, but it is very...

Occipital Neuralgia???

The last time I went on Hospital homebound, my doctor wrote on my paperwork under diagnosis : Occipital Neuralgia. I don't really know a whole lot about what that condition is exactly. I read a few pages about it on this site though. But I kept reading about pain mainly on one side of the body/face.. and my pain is pretty much even on both sides. I do get severe facial pain, pain on the back of my head, temples, and neck. So my question is:...

Fever Few

I took fever few for a couple months. It's an herbal medicine used to treat migraines. It didn't help me but I have read about it helping people many times. I bought like 10 bottles of the stuff too and I don't even take it anymore. But it was worth a try.

Get Checked For TMJ

About a week ago, I was checked for TMJ. My understanding of TMJ is that it is when your jaw joints and muscles are out of alignment. So they shocked my face for an hour, it was a pretty high voltage too apparently, because it made my left arm bounce up and down and everytime I was shocked my eyes blinked lol. Then they took a mold of my bite. If your bite changes significantly after you get shocked, then it's a good chance...

The Worst Part About Migraines.

I believe that the worst part about migraines are that you can't see them. My teachers and ex co-workers always looked at me and thought nothing of my condition... it's just a headache, right? Try having a migraine for over a year and see how you feel... I always wanted to tell them that. Migraines aren't like a disease where you can see it's affects, you don't see any hair loss, any skin deformities, an odd gait... nothing....

Acupuncture

I recieved acupuncture about a month ago. It was nothing like I thought it was supposed to be like. I thought that you just get a bunch of little needles put in you, but nope, this dude gave me like a million shots! He was a chinese doctor, which I thought would be good since acupuncture came from the Chinese. But he took my own blood (just a drop) and mixed it with some homeopathic medicine and shot it back in me in my arms, legs, and neck....

Hospital Homebound and Me

Monday I go back on Hospital Homebound. I was on it for the last 4 months of school last year. In summary, Hospital Homebound (HH) is basically home school for students who have a condition that prevents them from attending school. A teacher from my high school comes to my home every day and teaches me. I am signed up to have the same teacher I had last year, which is great. A little about me: I'm 17 yrs old and I started having...
