I've been doing some reading online and I came across something interesting. There is a group of service dogs called migraine alert dogs, similar to seizure alert dogs they alert the person before they have a migraine based on behaviors and changes in their body that the dog can detect. Has anyone else heard of this? I am exploring this option... Read more

I have been waking up with what I call "hangover" headaches. I wake up with small headaches in the morning. Most of the time they are taken care of by the medication that I am taking at the time but sometimes they are not. Thats when I call in the back up. the most intersting thing so far about college has been nursing and migraines and handling the two together. I have had so many challegnes trying to balance the two. I got my first migraine at the age of 19.
