I am a woman in her late 40's who is sufferin with chronic cervical and back pain, I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease two years ago, and have two ruptured discs in my c-spine, I live with pain daily, every minute of everyday. I take pain medication but I am never without pain. I have hemiplegic migraines that I have had for about twenty years, my arms have so much pain that I cant raise them above my head most days. And most of the time now I have numbness in my fingertips, and tingling in my fingers. Neurosurgeons say I need surgery, I refuse because I know that I will be in even more pain than I am in now, because I believe that surgery is a last resort. I work and everyday I fell so much worse, than the day before, my coworkers are understanding, but somedays I cant even make it through the day without having to go home. I came to this sight to see what kind of information is out there for people with chronic pain, and I am glad I found it.PHOTOS:
