HEALTH INTERESTS:
Migraine with Aura; Cerebral Hemorrhage survivor; Asthma; GERD with now Barrett's Esophagus. Some kind of immune problem but it is not HIV. Mild case of Celiac's disease and I usually hurt as result of years of hard work has its consequences.
DRUGS I AM TAKING:
Fioricet for migraine aura and tension headaches. I used to get frequent aura pre-migraine, but since taking Librax for esophageal spasm a year ago and still, I do not get the auras anymore, except when I tried Cymbalta for pain management which did result in a several hour steady aura and bad migraine 3 days after starting the Cymbalta. I quit the Cymbalta. Doing recovery for brain bleed was very difficult as I was experiencing migraine episodes greatly and often and was not diagnosed it was migraine until the flashing wwwwwwwwww aura began 4 years later. I do miss the light show, I found it interesting to observe.
ABOUT ME:
Life long asthmatic. Believe me, that all by itself was enough. Brain hemorrhage survivor at age 50. GERD. Now, at age 59 Barrett's and possibly Fibromyalgia. But I am still kicking!
I forgot about the tinnitus. I am usually in deep thought and forget about it. The quiet of a hospital room will drive me nuts. Is the result of M-16 rifles without ear plugs and working in machine shop around a lot of machinery for 30 years. I mention Zen as a way to forget the pain or noise, but Zen is about that place where there is NO thought. So, it must not be Zen, that place I go to deep thought. For me figuring out a fix-it / fix-up problem having never fixed something with no experience to fall back on or studying math and physics.
