I had also had trouble walking and experienced a dramatic increase in pain in my feet in the previous 3 days or so. I went to the Dr right away, who ordered blood tests and a MRI - Stat! - as she put it. For example, the other evening just before going to bed, my blood sugar was 117 - which I was happy with. When I woke up the next morning, it was 134, which I was not happy with. I have had this kind of experience a number of times and don't have an answer for it.
