ABOUT ME:

i am 19 years old and i live in mannford oklahoma and i have been diabetic since i was two years old. it seems that every time i step in the school doors i want to walk out.i hate my school like you cannot believe. everyone there makes fun of me or stays away beacuase i am diabetic. get this a popular girl came up to me and asked me if my diabetese was contagious!i have people run down the hall yelling "the wierdo cant eat sugar, the wierdo cant eat sugar." and stuff like that. they throw candy bars at me after school with nasty notes attached and spit on them! i am trying to be homeschooled but it is too expesive, and i have a diabetic boyfriend who seems to think that our diabetese is the same and tells me that type one is just like type two1 that i can take one of his pills if i ever forget my insulin while we are out. so as you can guess i have low selfesttem and just looking for some other diabetics who understand the things i am going through.
