ABOUT ME:

After being hospitalized and diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (Type I) in September 2005, I am re-learning how to live and laugh again. I am an educator and researcher by training and believe we can gain a lot of insight and comfort from the perspectives and experiences of those who are living with this complex illness. I post on this site every now and then, and blog regularly on my own site about my struggles to manage and make sense of my life. Drop by if you get a chance, hearing from others is so supportive and reminds me that I am not alone.
