Topamax,  Neurontin,  Chlorpromazine,  Zanaflex,  Imitrex,  Lamictil,  Requip

ABOUT ME:

I have suffered with migraines as far back as I can remember. My first memories are around 5 yrs old when all my mom could give me was st.josephs aspirin. I started seeing a neurologist at 10 yrs old. I've been on all kinds of meds. The triptins work best for aborting the headache but I tend to overuse them and get rebound headaches. I haven't found the right preventative med yet. I average about 4 migraines per week and it is hard to function sometimes. I have even filed for disability and was turned down. I am on thin ice at work now for having to be out so much. But when you have to take so many meds to try to get rid of a migraine you end up being like a walking zombie or you're in so much pain you can't function. I am a single mom of two beautiful children. One girl who is 8, and one boy who is 7. They keep me inspired. Well thats enough about me. Thanks for reading this. Rebecca (migraine misery)
