I think things are looking better for now. I have not taken any Fioricet for about a wk now though I have tkaen Excedrin a few times but I wanted to get away from the Fioricet as much as possible first. Imitrex use is down also. After last week one of the nurses said she was trying not to wear perfume to help me. I was working a different unit than usual when she came on. She stopped and said, "Oh no, I didn't think you were working so I sprayed perfume on as I was walking up the hall." Personnally even if I wore perfume I wouldn't do that,... Read more

I am so excited. Finally one of the nurses has stopped wearing perfume, she said she did not want to cause me problems with my headaches, and she was one of the worst ones! Okay, I am still having the problem with people at work still wearing the perfumes and scented lotions etc but I think I am seeing some improvement in my migraines. The doctor had me take Naprosyn for a couple days and then when I saw him he started me on Topamax. I don't know if it starts helping right away, but I am also trying real hard not... Read more

Had a bad weekend. I have been walking along what we call the River Greenway in our town the last week along with my husband who had back surgery and walking daily to help build up strength. I not only have to smell all the perfume at work, but people who are walking, jogging riding bike etc think they have to be bathed in it... Read more
