ABOUT ME:

I have had Multiple Sclerosis for 25+ years.  I am a trained Peer Resource for Teva Neuroscience, helping others with MS talk about their Copaxone experience.  I am a recent graduate of the Alfus Patient Advocate Certificate Program at the University of Miami. I author a blog entitled "An Empowered Spirit" (www.anempoweredspirit.com). My goal is to "pay it forward" to those with MS as a professional Patient Advocate.  My son is a freshman in college, and my husband and I are empty nesters.  We have 2 cats who basically run our house!  I love animals, knitting, reading, writing, music, classic movies and television, long walks, going out with friends, good food and wine, volunteering and helping others.Laughing
