ABOUT ME:
Dx with RRMS & pulmnary fibrosis 2-08-09. They both got together, on aug. 11-09-09. My lungs were barely working. After four days in trama unit, later open lung byop. to find out what kind it was. After byop, been under house arrest, oxygen 24-7. Once the flu season is over I may be able to go back to church, out to eat, go fishing, visit, friends,& be visited. Depression has to be delt with the way that works for you. My faith in GOD has helped me so many times in my life. I take a med for depression, when I get to feeling, well whats next, am I better,or worse, are my lungs going to quit on me again? This is stuff I have little or no control over. As with so much in our MS lives, we have no control. IT IS WHAT IT IS. IT IS WHAT IT IS. Repeat 10, 20, 2or 300 times. If you have no con- troll don't worry about it. When I think about my future things like will I ,be here to see & hold my first grand- child due this sept. Yes it makes me sad to think about that, then I think about going to see my surgeon for the open lung biop. The waiting where you register is in the Cancer treatment department. After sitting there watching people sitting, walking, talking, some were in pain some of them not letting it show. Many of the younger ones were laughing, cutting up with family, other patients. Most of the young ones wearing toboggins, or hats. They were in their 20's early 30's. Knowing what they have gone thru and what they have to look forward to. How in the world can I feel sorry for me......GOD BLESS YOU....Mike....
