I am married to a wonderful man who is my best friend and we will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this year. I have two children, my 19 year old son (in college) & my 13 year old daughter. I was diagnosed with RA about 3 years ago. Right now it is manageable with the meds, but I worry about when they won't be enough. My biggest lesson that I still have to learn is to ask for help. I am very independent, & am a "I'll do it myself" type person....in a body that just doesn't agree anymore. I am stubborn & pigheaded in my thinking that I can still do everything.....and it has cost me a few flare-ups & some cortisone shots. lol But I am learning......PHOTOS:
