ABOUT ME:

I am 57 years old, happily married for 34 years, mother of four grown sons, and love to garden, read, write, and exercise. I had to step away from my wonderful career of teaching after the effects of EDS and sarcoidosis became too much. I have undergone 14 surgeries to try to stabilize the rapidly weakening joints and have the next procedure in Jan to stabilize both feet. I keep fighting the affects of this condition - trying to remain as positive as possible, staying educated and seeing the good that is still in my life despite the struggles.
