I am a 21 year old student who recently moved back home to go to community college. The move has been a very painful adjustment, and through this process I was finally diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Although diagnosis has been a blessing in the way of explanation, I'm still struggling to find help, a support system, or the right medication. Bipolar still detrimentally affects my daily life, relationships, and overall functioning as a human being. I am not close with my family, nor do I have many close friends who understand what I am going through, so I'm in a position where I have to be my own support system. Its hard, but I'm determined to alleviate some of the stress and pain of bipolar and lead a better life. I just need to find a little help.PHOTOS:
