They removed my trapezium bone in my right hand and replace it with one of my arm tendons, then tightened things up. I'm still in a splint not aloud to move my thumb or wrist for 2 more weeks. I walked several times a week and spent alot of time in the gym. I had a body to be proud of, nice arms and a tight little butt for a 40 something year old. He has said that I am a triple threat with the RA, I have trigger thumbs and lots of bone spurs and bone on bone grinding. Why must I go through the cortizone shots?
