My doctor thinks I am diabulemic

I recently had an appointment with my endoc, she was a little busy with another patient so she sent in the nurse to take down my info, like my weight, blood pressure, and record what my blood sugars are.

The nurse kept flipping the pages in my file back and forth from my last appointment in November comparing the info from then to now.

She mentionrd that my blood sugars are much lower now than they were at my last...

My Blood Infection

A few posts ago i shared my struggle with diabetes and how i was not taking responsibility for my health, well this past December i became very sick. I had a filling fall out of one of my molars and it got infected, the infection got into my stomache from swallowing the puss, and i ended up with a blood infection. I was terribly sick, i could not eat or drink anything and wasnt going to the bathroom, i had nothing in me to eliminate, i was...

GUESS I'M NOT A DIABETIC ALIEN AFTER ALL!!

Wow I had no idea that there are so many young people out there with the very same diabetes related issues as myself!!

For so many years I've felt so alone and scared, and when you feel alone with something that scares the @#ù$ out of you, you really start to feel alienated and even more alone.

I find inspiration in so many things lately, checking out websites, googling diabetic celebs(Halle Berry, Brett Michaels are my...

I went to my diabetes doc today, my blood sugars are improving,it has only been a month since my last appointment with her when I was told that my diabetes is(was!) way out of control and in bad condition. I am happy, my A1C will be much better i know when I go back to see her in the new year(JANUARY), I can't wait for even better results!!

Ashamed of myself!

Hi everyone, I am new to diabeties support groups, sites etc... I really like this one, it's readable and everyone is relatable. Anyway, I have been living with this disease for 7 years, almost eight, unfortunately I just recently let myself believe I have diabeties, I was living in denial that long. So far I don't have any complications that I notice and my doctor hasn't told me of any, just that I have protein in my kidneys and I'm a little...
