I am an EMT for my local agency. I have been lifting stretchers and crawling into crashed vehicles for the past 12 years. This has left me severe back pain. I have had one surgery and the docs now want to add bolts, plates and screws. I refuse, for now. I will stick it out as long as I can.PHOTOS:
