ABOUT ME:
I am a U.S. Navy Veteran, served during the Vietnam War, have a son, and a grandson. I have been living with chronic pain since the age of 23, When my second son was born. (first one died after 2 days, birth complications). I decided that I would not go through a long labor, like I did with my first and chose to have a caesarian birth. A few days later, I had been diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg, after a part of it went to my lung, and almost died, cause I was previously diagnosed with pnemonia, and treated for it, a few days later, I could not walk, lay down, or hardly breath. Went to an special dr., who correctly diagnosed "deep vein thrombosis" To this day, I am still being treated for it, and the pain it causes. (30 yrs now 1979). I also had an operation in my neck to repair the discs. two knee replacements, after several knee operations, blood clot in my ovaries, and had to lose part of my colin, due to the blood clot also in my stomach. I had to wear one of those bags until my body got repaired., not to mention severe chronic headaches, back pain, I was overweight for most of the time since my second pregnancie, but managed to lose 140 lbs during the year2007, by changing the foods I ate, portions. No diet, cause they never worked or the weight loss came off, and more came back on. Still struggling to keep the weight off. I was 285, got down to 114 lbs, now at 130 lbs. Now I need to lose 10 lbs to get where my Dr. would like me, and I am comfortable at 120 lbs. Do I need to add anything? I don't think so, or should I say, I hope that is enough.
