I have a brother one year younger than me. Growing up there would be times when all the chores and even the homework would be done by one while the other would vegetate. The first time I realized that something was wrong was when during freshman year in college. I "woke up" and realized that I had not shown up for classed in weeks. Prior to that, I was on track to making the deans list. Yet, it would be 5 more years before I got diagnosed. 10 more before I found effective treatment. The saddest part for me is that the same year I got my diagnoses, my brother committed suicide.PHOTOS:
