They believe my migraines started at age 3. They got worse when I moved to the US (S.D.). As I look back it seem to me that the hot climate affected my BP (I had no clue about any health issues back then and sougt help first when I was 38.)
I developed Hortons but didn't get it diagnosed until years later, mainly because of lack of health insurance. Now spring, summer, and fall is the time when I have long periods of Hortons, but also migraines. My Horton attacks are not as severe as I've seen in other cases, but lasts for many weeks at a time, with continued attacks several times/ day.
I am curious about the connection between cardiovascular/ heart health and migraines/ Hortons. I believe there is a connection.
I noted that my headaches are more or less nil when I get an antibiotic cure for something else, I wish there was a way to find a treatment that worked permanently. I am now unable to work, and have been since my 3 year old daughter was born. I then got more problems with BP as well as I developed CFS/ FM.
Otherwise I'm hanging in there! I hope to get better help now as I moved back to Sweden and I can recieve healthcare no matter what.
I appreciate this site! It is a great place to seek info and connect.
