After spending two years together, the wraths of the world have separated my co-worker Dena and I from our hours of fitness/nutrition chats and post-cubicle workouts. Seeing as though we will no longer be able to be eachother's personal, in-your-face, daily motivation we have decided to join an online fitness network. Which brings us to present moment of why you are able to read this riviting story on mydietexercize.com.
Personally, I am training for my first marathon. April 7 marks the half-marathon point and I can't lie, already my knees hurt and my ipod needs some new song-lovin. I love new fitness adventures and being outside, but need constant motivation for day-to-day running and gym time (especially in the winter). I also have a severe weakness for food. It doesn't really matter what kind, although my self control doesn't stand a chance against buffalo chicken, cheesecake and tostitos with queso. But then again, who doesn't? That is why my fitness goal is to create a positive fitness mindset and schedule that will not only prepare me for my marathon goal but allow me to enjoy all the food I crave...with a side of vegetables, of course.
