DRUGS I AM TAKING:

katie has not shared any drug information.

ABOUT ME:

I am allergic to garlic and sensitive to other members of the lily family.  which include onions, shallots, leeks, green onions, etc.  I became allergic to garlic when I was 14 or 15 years old.  My grandma also shares my allergy.

When I have garlic I can get any or many of a variety of symptoms, like throwing up, nausea, horrible stomach and intestinal pain, diarrhea, constipation, and my throat/mouth may swell/ tighten up (minor anaphylaxis?).  My doctors think I haven't had severe anaphylaxis because I take Singulair (asthma medication) and that helps my airways to stay relaxed in the first place.  When I accidentally had raw garlic and ended up with an ulcer for two months... ugh.
