I'm at a loss. I've turned out to be a person that is sensitive to psych meds. In the last year I've been on Li, Epival, Seroquel, Olanzapine, Risperidone, Lamotrigine.... and all but lamotrigine has caused side effects. I've been diagnosed 10 months ago. It gave me hope that my life had a bit of meaning to it. I am BP2 so depression is where I spend most of the time. I've had reactions to Lithium and am now on Lamotrigine and Epical (Valproic). My doc has me talking about a return to work and says that my therapy is where the help... Read more

I don't know if I'm sick or have some major personality flaws. My father told me when I was 25 that I wasn't a happy child. With my memories of my childhood being both good and bad, I was still taken back by his comment. At 17 I went crazy, left school, booze, sex... a lot of sex.
