40 year old, living with back pain my whole life, born with a birth defect - hemi vertebrae, 4 spinal fusions with instrumentation, spinal cord stimulator implanted in 2006 but not using because it do not take care of the pain, wanting the pain pump but am told I am too young. Very frustrated! Still taking pain medicine, but not enough to take care of the pain to be able to work full time and take care of my family.PHOTOS:
