I am 27 yrs old and I have always lived here in Alabama. I've been married going on 5 yrs and I have 3 boys and 1 girl. My oldest is 10 1/2, one is 8, and the twins are 4. Life was pretty fair up until recently when I was given my drug screen since being placed on adderall for my ADHD. It showed positive for amphetamines as it should but also it triggered a false positive for methaphetamines. Considering I hadnt touched meth in 5 yrs 5 months and 11 days, the adderall was my only explanation. After having it sent to the lab, 2 months later I was tested again with the same outcome recurring. I never recieved lab results back from 1st one b/c they told me "the wrong mail carrier picked my urine up". So unfortantly for me that could have helped prove my innocence when the 2nd one  showed up as meth. Again it was sent to the lab. The following month I reported as usual and the test didnt show no mercy for the 3rd time. Eager for the lab results to spire me they done just the opposite. There walked an officer in to take me to jail for a bench warrant for the failed lab results that I had requested to be sent off to prove my innocence. So while I was incarcarated I lost my job and my life just became havoc. My freiend found this website were alot of people were also dealing with this same issue. Although pleading my innocence wasnt enough for the judge I was still sentenced to repeat c.r.o. after almost being fully done with the court system. Its about money and if you dont have any then you dont have a chance. In my wildest dreams would I have ever believed adderall would trigger a  false positive for meth and the court system get away with charging me with it. It happened to me its happening everywhere and something needs to be done about it.
