I was diagnosed with RA in 2006 at the age of 49. Have known for sometime, that something wasn't right. I was just too young & too active to have so much joint pain. But, the entire inflammatory test ran, since 1991, always came back normal. After noticing my little finger on my left hand was going crooked, finally I made an appointment with a RA doctor (who's usual test by the way, showed nothing, too) who listened & kept running test until it was found. The test that finally showed inflammation was a nuclear bone scan. I was put on meds & doing better.
