I am a wife, mom and a animal lover. I have been complete paraplegic for 36yrs. I try to stay active but is hard some days due to chronic pain. The level of my injury is T 10-12. I have had 2 fusions, and years ago had to have all hardware removed because the rods were trying to come though the skin! In 2006 had a anterior/posterior fusion. I now have 14 rods pins and bone grafts ect done. I sit staight but the pain and spasms can be very hard to cope with! I have noticed lots of progress with spinal cord inj.'s over the years. I hope to see more for the people who have their life changed due to a SPI. I will never give up!
