I am 52 years old, and have had migraines for 15 years. I have tried many preventative medications. The side effects have outweighed the benefits so I decided a few years ago to just use an abortive med(zomig). The past year has been terrible so I am considering going on a preventative again. I am very worn out and am willing to try something new. I have two boys 18, and 22 that keep me going. My husband tries to be supportive, but most of the time I do not tell him I have a migraine. I am a good actress:)
