Was on a lot,  then on seroquel and now recently taking abilify

ABOUT ME:

I am married and have 2 children. My life hasn't always seemed right though I honestly thought it was normal and everyone went through the up's and down's just like I do and did. I was diagnosed with Bi-polar 2 years ago and it has been a struggle! A struggle for me to comprehend that I have a mental illness, a struggle with all the different meds and staying on them, a struggle with the weight gain and the shear embarrassment of what I have done and what my behavior at times continues to be. I take myself off of meds when I want to and fail to realize that when I do this, each time, I'm one step closer to losing my family and what means so much to me in my life. I am seeking help, guidance and understanding. I can read all the books that I want to read about this "illness" though having someone(s) to talk with and know that my feelings, my behavior, it's not just me in this big world.
