My home is in the lovely midwest - I've lived other places, but always seem to navigate back to Michigan. My bipolar diagnosis came at the age of 32. I have raised 4 children and they are all fine adults. I have two grandchildren, ages 6 & 4.
My husband is my monitor and my rock. He is continually there for me even though my illness is tough for him to understand. I am grateful and blessed.
I have been reasonably and thankfully healthy for the past 4 years - no hospitalizations, no out-of-control highs, no unbearable lows. I'm in recovery - I always will be.
I am passionate about support groups. And I am passionate about working toward good bipolar health. My participation here at bipolar connect is part of that process.
