I had my mammo today and everything was clear. I am still NED! They have a new machine which for the most part isn't as painful. But the pain is all worth it when they tell you everything is good!

sleep is good

I actually feel pretty good today. Dilly slept last and I got to sleep early and slept all night. It's amazing what sleep can do for you. I have definitely decided the pain is from carrying around a cranky, teething, 25 pound, 1 year old granddaughter. She has 4 jaw teeth coming in and gas wanted me to hold her all day. The pain is a lot worse tonight. But I only have a few more days with her before...

heat and pain

it is so hot here. It hasn't been this hot since 88. I was pregnant with my youngest son then so I was really, really miserable. I think the heat is affecting my scar the same way the cold did over the winter. I don't know if that's possible, but I know tylenol and advil just dim the pain. You'd think after almost 3 years the pain would be nonexistant. No lumps or anything there so I'm okay...

5 more days

Just 5 more days till I have my next mammo. Even though it has been three years I still get so nervous that I could throw up. I actually though that I would never make it this far. I'm sure that everyone feels that way when they first get the news that they have cancer. But if you have a good caring doctor, treatments and survivng are very doable. It also helps to have a good support system. Find a...
