I am 1 of 8 kids and two of them are Type 1 Diabetics. I also have Uncle's and Grandparent's with the disease. I have a lot of respect for people with Diabetes, because I have seen first hand what Diabetic's go through on a daily basis. My sister was just 7 years old when she was diagnosed. She has just recently had an emergency surgery, because of a abscess on her abdomen. She is 18 and still hasn't been able to get her license, because our family is so worried about her when she is driving being so brittle and all.
