advil,  decadron,  kytril,  taxol,  adriamycin,  neulasta,  vitamins

ABOUT ME:

I'm 49, diagnosed with invasive breast cancer 9/30/09. Sentinel node biopsy and left side mastectomy 11/4. No sign of spread beyond the original tumor. Started adriamycin and taxol 12/15/09, once ~every 3 weeks for 4 cycles. No family history, or risk factors that I was aware of. Since diagnosis I have learned a few.. but who knew less than 1 alcoholic drink a day, a love of sugar and a dearth of sunshine were increasing my risks? I am an artist/photographer, a realtor. I have a loving, supportive husband, two adult daughters and two adorable grandbabies, and abundant family and friends on my cheerleading squad. My cancer is gone.. chemotherapy is my insurance policy. I still plan to live to at least 94.
