Effexor XR and Clonazepam (hope to be off the latter soon)

ABOUT ME:

I have been battling depression since 1995. Along with the depression I have social anxiety disorder and OCD tendencies. Over the years I have tried medicine and therapy sessions to quiet the sadness within. In the past these methods did not work too well, and I decided to go at it alone. This worked for a while--but it has lead me down an isolated path. A path in which I could only observe life. Now in my mid-twenties I realize that life more is not meant to be observed; instead it is to be experienced! I intend to experience life no matter how miserable I become. At least I will be able to say I tried. I am now seeing a counselor, opening up to a select group of friends, taking medication, and pushing myself to leave my isolated realm. It is rough--but with God on my side all things are possible.
