WOW! This has been a brutal battle. I'm speechless. What now? I'm done. My breast is healing it's not peeling anymore and my upper chest is doing better also. Yesterday it hit me really bad that having triple negative breast cancer will sort of be like being imprisoned...the chances of it coming back are high and i'm scared beyond belief!... Read more

Holy cow! I'm on day 30 and almost done. I'm on the "boost" part of radiation and NOW my skin has taken a toll especially my nipple. It is actually peeling! YIKES!! So far my skin is doing OK...no irritation yet. My blood count was normal, I was about .05 from having a normal red blood cell count, i'm not anemic, but I still feel extremely tired and out of breath! I can't do any physical activity, even minimal stuff like sweeping or doing laundry because I feel like a ran 5 miles! I 'used'... Read more

So far so good. My skin looks the same; however this weakness and shortness of breath is still there. The radiologist said that I could be anemic; however, I won't get my blood checked until Thursday. I am on day 4 of radiation treatment for stage III breast cancer. I was diagnosed January 20,2010 at the age of 33.
