My name is Matthew and I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes February 12, 2009. I'm still learning how to manage it daily and during activities. I'm a huge sports guy so I wasn't really sure how I was supposed to deal with diabetes and then go play a basketball game. But it really isn't that bad. I have gotten lows during sports but my dad's always there for me to help me out! It's really great if you have a support group around youPHOTOS:
