DRUGS I AM TAKING:

topamax,  depakote,  lyrica,  nexium,  celexa,  norvasc,  avapro,  spironolactone,  oxycontin & oxycodoned (last 2 for migraine pain)

ABOUT ME:

I have had migraines since Ia=was in high school (I'm 54 now). I thought (Hoped) they would go away once I had a histerectomy @ 43, but they didnt. I had pretty good management with Topamax for several years, but about since Nov. 2008 they started returning again. In Sept. 2009, I had PRES Syndrome - very scary-even though I don't remember anytghing after being taken into the ER. My blood pressure has also increased, being able to go off my one med after losing over 100# & now Im back on 3 meds for it!! This is to keep it down & hopefully keep migraines at bay but not woking too well..BP is down some, but I'm afraid of PRES returning too! It's been a mess lately but I have been fortunate to have renewed a past relationship with someone I dated 30 years ago - we started seeing each oher in October and it has helped me get through the attacks, and has taken me to the ER twice, etc... My husband passed away 2.5 years ago & I did not want or expect to have aother relationship in my life afterward, but this one fits so well because we know each other from before (with some changes of course) but all is good. He does worry about my headaches so I want to get rid of them for that reason too - I just want to be "FREE" of these dibilitating things!! Thank you for letting me share!
