Talking about our pain

Lene asked me to share my experience with this as far as my family and friends are concerned. I am happy to do that.
I spent years trying to behave as though I felt fine and not inflict my pain on my loved ones especially. I did notice that my husband watched me constantly and he would look for signs of pain. He knew that if I touched my wrist that it was really hurting me. He watched my face for signs. My grown...

finally had to face it

I was diagnosed three years ago. I have been through two doctors and am on my fourth biologic. It keeps advancing through my body and keeping me in constant pain. I found a picture of myself with two of my grown daughters. I was healthy and accustomed to doing lots of physical activity with my family. We are an active bunch. Now, I...

need a referral to a new RA doc

I have been going to a rheumatologist in Corpus Christi for almost 2 years and I am really needing to change doctors. Does anyone know of a good one here in Corpus or I could drive to Houston as well. I know there are so many there but I want someone who has access to the newest drugs. I have tried nearly all of them; MTX, humira, rituxan and now I am on enbrel with no results.
