ABOUT ME:

10/3/2007:Prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with sentinel node biopsies & TRAM flap reconstruction (tummy tuck...BONUS!!!). 1 week later: Cancer diagnosis but margins were clear and lymph nodes were clear. 4 months later both arms stated to swell...surgeon tells me I'd be a case study if I got lymphedema. Now, I have full blown lymphedema in both arms and I'm trying to live with it. Oh, I'm an RN and physician assistant working full time.
