ABOUT ME:

My 11 year old has had a migraine for 4 months straight (the same one). Several DRs have said it is from RSD, a condition she has. The latest pediatric neurologist ruled out pseudotumor by looking in her eyes which I've learned can't be done from this site. She also doesn't think it's a migraine or related to RSD. Is now doing an EEG and bloodwork but has hinted that may be psychological. This infuriated me because my daughter already has a neurological condition and doesn't need another illness for getting attention. She hates the attention "being different" brings and doesn't ever even talk about her physical problems. She's missed so much fun from being noise sensitive, unable to jump, bend over, etc from the headache. She also missed a lot of school which she loves. So I'm a mom on a mission to try to figure this headache out and get an answer!
