I'm an Air Force officer, working for NASA, very concious of my health and into working out, staying in shape, and competing athletically whenever possible. I got my first "migraine-like incident" on October 9, 2007, and I had to dial 911 for help. I had no idea what was going on and it seemed like I was having a stroke. I was at home, with my 3 year old son, and my wife was at work, so I was scared for my son's safety more than anything. I had another incident 4 days later after working out, which I narrowed down to be the triggering factor for my migraines.
Since then I've been to the neurologist, had a MRI session that did 5 separate scans of my head and spine. I'm awaiting the neurologists' analysis of those results.
